Who is Destiny electronics
Destiny Electronics Pvt Ltd is a wholly Zimbabwean company owned by Zimbabwean citizens. It came into being in the year 2004 following a strategic decision by Philips Electrical (Private) Limited; a subsidiary company of Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands to focus their operations on large markets in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific. It therefore meant that they had to cease operations in many African nations and operate through exclusive dealerships with selected companies.
Following this decision, negotiations began between Philips and its management resulting in a management buyout of the company. The management buyout resulted in the change of name from Philips Electrical to Destiny Electronics since this was part of the conditions of the buy out.
We are the official distributor of the NEC Enterprise Solutions in Zimbabwe and some parts of the SADC Region. We bridge the gap between NEC and the Zimbabwean market. We ensure that our customers are supplied with quality NEC PBX’s and accessories on an ongoing basis. We are a customer-focused organisation, committed to innovation, exceptional customer service, quality and value.
Our target market comprises of mining sector, industry, hospitality sector, agricultural sector and all government institutions.

We have a fully-fledged Technical Services Department that is responsible for the service and repairs of our installed systems nationwide as well as the undertaking of new projects and installations. The department is made up of skilled and competent technicians who have been trained and certified by NEC. We also get technical as well as marketing support from NEC Enterprise Solutions.
